How we work

A company can come in through any line, but the natural entry point is an assessment: of data, of automatable processes or of AI adoption.

The client journey

  1. Assessment

Short, with fixed scope and fixed price. Useful to the client even if it doesn't continue with BPD.

  2. Phased build

Each phase delivers something that works and can be measured.

  3. Handover

    Documentation, training sessions and support.

  4. Monthly operations

Optional. Monitoring, adjustments and improvements under a monthly contract.

Delivery principles

  • Business goal and data first

Before talking technology, we agree on which business result needs to move and we review the data the client has or generates. This holds even when the request is "just an app" or "just a profile."

  • Assess first, quote second

We don't price a large project without having seen the data and the processes.

  • Short phases with something working at the end

No phase ends with only a document, except the assessment.

  • Baseline and measurement

Before building, we measure the starting point; at the close, the result.

  • What we build generates useful data

Software, apps and automations are designed around the data they will produce and what it's for.

  • Every delivery brings the next proposal

With its scope and price, or an honest recommendation to stop. That's how a partner acts.

  • Risks in plain view

We report a problem when it appears, with the number that shows it and a proposal to fix it.

  • Knowledge gets transferred

Documentation written for whoever will maintain it, with handover sessions included.

  • Technology is chosen with explicit criteria

What the client already pays for, what its team knows how to use, data volume, three-year cost and security requirements.

Commercial models

  • Fixed price per phase

Assessments, data projects, software, apps and automation.

  • Staffing by profile and month

The client directs the work and needs technical capacity on its team.

  • Monthly operations contract

Keeping pipelines, dashboards, apps and AI automations running.

  • Training programs

By cohort or by organization, with follow-up usage measurement.

  • Public procurement

Government agencies: the offer is submitted in the format and with the requirements of the process, keeping the phased approach with defined deliverables.

How a team is organized

  • One senior lead per client

Answers for quality and is the day-to-day point of contact.

  • The team is introduced before signing

It's the one that works through to the end.

  • Small teams

Between 2 and 4 people per project in most cases.

  • Overlapping handoffs

If someone has to leave, their replacement works alongside them for a while, at BPD's cost.

What the client always gets

Whatever the service line:

  • A plan with phases, deliverables and dates.
  • A progress report with risks, in a format you can read in five minutes.
  • The before-and-after measurement.
  • Documentation and handover of what was built.
  • The proposal for the next phase, or an honest recommendation to stop there.

Start with an assessment

We start with a fixed-price assessment, and from there each phase comes with its own fixed price.
