About

BPD stands for Business Powered by Data: businesses that run on their own data. The name sums up the whole company. The business is the lead character, data is the energy source and technology is what connects one to the other.

Mission

We are the partner that helps our clients improve their results with technology solutions built on the data they have or generate, and we measure every result.

  • We are the partner

We answer for the business result, with a stable senior team that knows the client.

  • Improve their results

The finish line is a business metric (cost, time, revenue, errors), not a delivered system.

  • Technology solutions

Data and analytics, software, apps, AI automation, technical talent, training, and data and AI governance, depending on what the problem calls for.

  • Built on the data they have or generate

Every project starts by understanding the client's data and leaves better data than it found.

  • We measure every result

A baseline before we start and a measurement at the close.

Values

  • Data first

Every solution starts from understanding the data the client has or generates. It's what the name says: Business Powered by Data.

    What we do

    • We review the data before proposing a solution, even when the request is "just an app" or "just a developer."
    • We design software and apps to generate useful data from day one.
    • We back every recommendation with the evidence behind it.

    What we don't do

    • Build without knowing what data the solution produces or consumes.
    • Propose AI on top of data nobody has reviewed.
  • Partners, not vendors

We measure ourselves by the outcome of the client's business, not by hours or deliverables. A vendor fills the order; a partner asks what it's for and speaks up when it won't work.

    What we do

    • We understand the business goal before the technical requirement.
    • We propose something simpler, or advise against doing it, when that is what serves the client.
    • We work in the open: phases with fixed scope and fixed price, and risks reported as soon as they appear.
    • We keep the same senior team from start to finish, with one lead who knows the client's business.

    What we don't do

    • Carry out a request we know won't deliver results without saying so.
    • Bid low to make it back on scope changes.
    • Sell with seniors and deliver with juniors.
  • If we can't measure it, we don't claim it

A result exists when it can be shown with numbers. The team's opinion and a working demo are not results.

    What we do

    • We take a baseline before we start: hours, errors, closing time, accuracy rate.
    • We close each phase by measuring the after.
    • We publish case studies with figures, with the client's permission.

    What we don't do

    • Call a pilot nobody uses a success.
    • Put impact counters on the website without anything to back them up.
  • Technology working for the business

We are not just code development. Technology is the means and the business result is the end. That's why we are agnostic: we choose the tool based on what the client already has, what its team knows how to use and what it costs over three years.

    What we do

    • We start with the business problem, not the tool.
    • We recommend the stack as a deliverable of the assessment, with the criteria in plain view.
    • We say "what you already have is enough" when it's true.

    What we don't do

    • Build for the sake of building.
    • Push a platform because it gives us margin or commission.
    • Propose a migration the problem doesn't call for.
  • We leave capability, not dependency

A project ends well when the client's team understands what was built and can run it.

    What we do

    • We document for whoever will maintain it, not to check a box.
    • We include handover and training sessions in every delivery.
    • We offer monthly operations as an option, not as the only way out.

    What we don't do

    • Build something only we know how to maintain.
    • Hold back knowledge to secure the renewal.

What BPD is not

  • It is not a vendor; it is a partner

It answers for the outcome of the client's business, not just for what it delivers.

  • It is not a code shop or an hours shop

Projects are sold in phases with fixed scope and fixed price, and in staffing BPD answers for the person it assigns and for how well that person fits the client's team.

  • It doesn't build without looking at the data

Every solution starts from the data the client has or generates.

  • It doesn't sell AI as talk

An automation counts as a success when there is a before-and-after measurement, not when it works in a demo.

  • It doesn't create dependency

Every project leaves the client's team able to run and understand what was built.

Yes. It's one of our priority sectors, along with services and retail.

Start with an assessment

We start with a fixed-price assessment, and from there each phase comes with its own fixed price.
